Welcome

Most of you are here because we know each other IRL, so you have context for my tale. But the gist of it is: I started working on vegetable farms about 10 years ago. Born and raised in Florida suburbs, farmwork helped me feel more engaged and embodied, and helped me work to feed my communities. I’ve worked with many amazing vegetable farmers who tire long and hard to feed and nourish their human and ecological communities and I am grateful for all I have learned through that work

A few years ago when I was considering widening my career path, I was pulled toward wanting to help care for farmers as well as they cared for their farms. And more broadly: care for every person - people of all ages, occupations, abilities, and so on - with the safe, effective, and compassionate care that they deserve.

Additionally, while farming and learning on-the-job body mechanics for the last ten years, I have been intrigued by human anatomy & our bodies as an ecological system as well as a mechanical one.

So in many ways my work in massage therapy has been informed by my work in agriculture. More on that later.
